Julia has an LLB degree from Peking University, Beijing, China, and a master degree of Law in Commercial and Corporate Law.from London School of Economics and Political Science, London, United Kingdom. Julia then pursued her New Zealand law studies at the Auckland University of Technology and the University of Auckland.

Julia was admitted in China in 2007. Julia has a strong sense in law and commerce, having previously worked in different industries including investment banking, commercial banking, as well as corporate and commercial legal practices in China, before coming to New Zealand. Julia is a licensed immigration adviser approved by the Immigration Advisers Authority since year 2015. She will be admitting as a barrister and solicitor of New Zealand by the end of 2020.

Julia cares for her clients and has successfully assisted many clients in the past years to obtain New Zealand visas and residency.
